I've been following Jeremy's work for years. Anybody that is familiar with it can understand he has done extraordinarily well. With photography that takes him all over the world it's difficult to not envy his lifestyle or talent as an artist. To be honest I can't remember how I initially reached out to Jer but probably "slid him a DM" a few years ago about going flying. It's important to keep in mind that the guy is in an aircraft more than some pilots, and opportunities for him aren't few or far between. He must have responded because we linked up for a beer.
There are some people in the world that seem to attract exceptional circumstances. The type of person that can create life long memories in places they've been a hundred times. It's an enviable gift to be given in this wild lottery of life. In the last few years Christian has become a close friend of mine and helped to curate some of the most genuinely fulfilling experiences that I've had. He's a smart ass and lives life with a deliberate and calm purpose that you can't help but get on board with.
Last February we held a photography show titled, "From Above" at White Sails Brewing in Nanaimo, BC. The event featured photographers Jeremy Koreski, Christian Coxen, Nick Temos, Graeme Owsianski, and TJ Watt. It was a wicked night of a lot of beer, laughter, and some money to charity. On behalf of all of us, thank you if you came out to the show or took time to come down to the brewery while the prints were up. And if you didn't? We'll catch you at the next one and have posted most of the show images below so you can check out what you missed.
